Intake System
aFe's Stage 1 intake systems feature large surface area 360 degree radial flow filters. The increased are reduces filter face velocity, which allows more air to enter the engine with less pumping effort. The area also boosts dust capacity, which reduces cleaning intervals of the lifetime filter. The filter is housed in a rugged heat shied that blocks engine heat and directs the factory cold air supply to the filter. An aerodynamically efficient filter-tube transition keeps flow gains from the filter moving into the engine.
