6200 lb. "Cheater Stock" Gas 4x4

Engine & Drivetrain

  1. Blocks & Heads must be cast iron

  2. Aluminum intakes, single four-barrel carburetors, & efi permitted

  3. 4500 series dominators, turbos, & superchargers NOT permitted

  4. Headers permitted with mufflers & must exit behind cab

  5. Engine must be same make as truck & in stock location

  6. 514 cu. in. limit

  7. Transmission & transfercase must be OEM, 1 ton or less

  8. Front & rear axles must be OEM, 1 ton or less

Chassis

  1. Factory frames 1 ton or less required with coil or leaf springs front & rear

  2. Traction bars are permitted

  3. Rear suspension blocks are NOT allowed

  4. Crew cab & extended cab trucks are permitted

Weights

  1. No front weights, heavy pipe bumpers, brush guards, or snow plows

  2. Weights must be secured in bed, NOT in cab or in engine compartment

Hitch

  1. Hitch point must be a minimum of 48" from the center of the rear axle & a maximum of 24" high

  2. No part of hitch can extend forward past the center of the rear axle & no hitch adjustment permitted from rearend

Truck

  1. Must have complete factory sheet metal & windows

  2. No removing of bed floor

  3. Flat beds are permitted as long as they are factory built or heavier

  4. Fiberglass hoods & hood scoops are permitted

  5. Batteries & fuel tanks must be in stock location or in bed

Tires

  1. Any street legal DOT approved tire is permitted

  2. Maximum tire size 36" tall x 16" wide

  3. NO cut or sharpened tires allowed

Safety

  1. NO nitrous or any pressurized fuels

  2. Pump gas or racing gas ONLY, NO alcohol or nitro permitted

  3. Drive shaft loops, u-joint shields, blowproof bellhousing or transmission blankets are required and kill switches are mandatory for everyone's safety


6500 lb. "Pro Street" 4x4

Engine & Drivetrain

  1. Cast iron blocks ONLY, aluminum intakes, any cast iron or conventional type aluminum cylinder heads permitted.  NO Pro Stock type cylinder heads, sheet metal, or tunnel ram intakes permitted.  NO dry sump oiling systems

  2. A 585 cu. in. limit will be enforced

  3. Dominator carbs permitted.  NO turbos, superchargers, injection, EFI, split or dual carbs

  4. Open headers permitted, must exit down & back

  5. Engine must be same make as truck & the back side of the block must be at least 15" behind the center of front axle

  6. Transmission, transfercase front, & rearend MUST be OEM, 1 ton or less

  7. Heavy duty aftermarket drivetrain parts can be used in OEM housings

Chassis

  1. Factory frames ONLY, NO tube chassis

  2. Traction bars are permitted

  3. Solid or block suspension permitted front & rear

  4. Crew cab and extended cab trucks are permitted

Weights

  1. Front weights & brackets may not extend more than 195" forward from the center of rear axle.  This measurement is used to compensate for allowing longer wheelbase trucks to compete

Hitch

  1. Hitch must be a minimum of 36" from the center of the rear axle & a maximum of 24"-26" high, depending on event

  2. Hitch can be adjustable, but it MUST be stationary in all directions when pulling

Truck

  1. Cab must have factory sheet metal & windows

  2. Must have good solid bed floor

  3. Flat beds are permitted as long as they are factory built or heavier

  4. Figerglass hoods & hood scoops are permitted

  5. Batteries & fuel tanks must be in stock location or in bed

Tires

  1. Any street legal DOT approved tire

  2. Maximum tire size is 36" tall x 16" wide

Safety

  1. NO nitrous or any pressurized fuels

  2. Pump gas or racing gas only, no alcohol or nitro permitted

  3. Drive shaft loops, u-joint shields, blowproof bellhousing or transmission blanket, & kill switches are required.


8000 lb. "Street Legal Diesel" 4x4 Class

  1. Trucks can be trailered in, but must meet the rest of our rules for the street legal class.

  2. Trucks competing in this class MUST be stock in appearance.

  3. Engine & drivetrain MUST come factory in a 1 ton or less pickup.

  4. This class is limited to a single charger.  The inducer bore cannot exceed 2.60".  This will be teched using a 2.65" plug, if the plug goes in you will be disqualified.  The largest diameter of the intake compressor wheel may not exceed 100mm.  NO reducers of any kind permitted to make a larger turbo pass inspection.  This also includes welding and re-machining the inducer bore to make a larger turbo pass.  The stock map width enhancement (MWE) groove is allowed.  NO MWE groove wider than a 1/4" will be permitted.  NOTE: Larger chargers & twins are permitted as long as they are OEM for that year of truck.

  5. Diesel fuel & bio diesel are the ONLY fuels permitted in this class

  6. Smoke MUST exit up through stacks or you will need a turn up on your tail pipe.  NO EXCEPTIONS!

  7. Suspension MUST have 1" of travel.  Traction bars are permitted as long as they do not restrict suspension travel

  8. MUST pull off of a reese type hitch, mounted solid to the frame with NO movement.  Hooking point MUST be the furthest point back of the truck & a maximum of 26" high.

  9. Front weights & brackets cannot exceed 60" from center of front axle.

  10. Any DOT approved tire is permitted.  No cutting or sharpening of tires permitted.

  11. NO nitrous, propane, or any other pressurized fuel permitted.  ANY tanks, lines, or etc. MUST be removed from truck before competing.

  12. Mandatory Safety: ALL trucks must have 6" long u-joint shields covering rear end yoke, rear output yoke, front output yoke, and front end yoke.  The front output yoke cover is NOT required if lack of room prevents installation.  Shield thickness requirements aluminum min. 5/16" & steel min. 1/4"


8000 lb. "Pro Street" 4x4

  1. Trucks competing in this class MUST run transmissions, transfercases, front ends & rear ends that came factory in a 1 ton or less pickup.  However, the internal drivetrain parts can be upgraded & modified.

  2. Engines MUST be OEM & available in 1 ton or less pickups.  NO aftermarket heads or blocks permitted.

  3. NO sigma injector pumps permitted.

  4. Single chargers are limited to a 3.0" inducer bore.  This will be teched using a 3.05" plug.

  5. Limited twin charger setups are permitted as long as they fit these rules.  Top charger MUST be a direct bolt on & the bottom charger MUST have a 3" or smaller inducer bore & wheel size.  NO restrictions of any kind may be used to permit a larger turbo to pass inspection.  A 3.05" plug will be used to tech these trucks.

  6. NO nitrous or propane.  ALL tanks & lines MUST be removed from trucks before competing.

  7. Front weights & brackets may NOT exceed more than 60" from center of front axle.

  8. Rear suspension blocks & traction bars are permitted.

  9. Pulling type hitches are permitted, hook point at least 36" behind the center of rear axle.

  10. ANY DOT approved tire permitted.  NO cutting or sharpening of tires permitted.

  11. Safety requirements: Must have driveshaft loops & u-joint shields on front & rear shafts. Blowproof bellhousings, blankets, or bellhousing shields required.  Air or fuel shut off kill switches required.

  12. Smoke MUST exit straight up.  Turn ups required on tail pipes.
