Event Schedule

Saturday May 31st

  • 9 a.m.: Gates open.   All registrations open, vendor midway opens, dyno runs begin, Show 'N' Shine registration begins; drag racing tech inspection opens

  • 10 a.m.: Drag Racing time trials begin

  • 10:30 a.m.: 1st Round of drag racing qualifications: QD/PS/PD/TD

  • 11:30 p.m.: 2nd Round of qualifications: QD/PS/PD/TD; drag racing tech for QD/PS/PD/TD closes; drag racing registration closes; sled pulling registration closes for lunch

  • 12:30 p.m.: 3rd Round of qualifications: QD/PS/PD/TD; sled pulling tech inspection begins in staging lanes; sled pulling registration re-opens

  • 1:30 p.m.: 4th Round of qualifications: QD/PS/PD/TD

  • 2:30 p.m.: Mandatory sled pulling drivers' meeting (all classes)

  • 3 p.m.: Diesel Power Diesel Additives sled pulls being: SS/MD Classes

  • 3:30 p.m: WS/SD sled pull qualifications begin

  • 5 p.m.: Show-n-Shine winners announced (awards stage on concourse)

 

Sunday June 3rd

  • 9 a.m.: Gates Open

  • 9:45 a.m.: Drag Racing time trials begin

  • 10 a.m.: Burnout Contest registration begins;  Show-N-Shine "Best in Show" lineup

  • 10:45 a.m.: MANDATORY drag racing drivers' meeting (ALL CLASSES)

  • 11 a.m.: Drag Racing eliminations begin

  • 1 p.m.: Burnout Contest

  • 1:45 p.m.: MANDATORY sled pulling drivers' meeting (ALL CLASSES)

  • 3 p.m.: DieselPower! Diesel Additives Sled Pulling Finals begin; Show-n-Shine "Best in Show" winner announced

  • 5 p.m.: Awards Ceremony begins (awards stage on concourse)

Lodging Information

Many people arrive early (Thurs. & Fri. ).  There are usually "festivities" near some of the hotels before the big weekend begins.
