When used in its programmer mode, The Edge Evolution provides 3 power levels designed to extract the most performance from the fuel you are using. With gains of up to 35 horsepower and 50 ft. lbs. of torque you will feel like you put a new engine in your truck. The Edge Evolution also provides a special mileage tune designed to extract maximum performance from low-octane fuel. The Evolution programmer is also the fastest on the market with programming times under 20 seconds, so going from one power level to another has never been easier.
When used as a scan tool, the Edge Evolution allows the user to check and clear Diagnostic Trouble codes with simple, clear text descriptions of the error, calibrate for different tire sizes and gear ratios, and change speed and rev limiters.
Once the programming is finished, the Edge Evolution turns into a state-of-the-art gauge display. Designed not only to look like part of your truck, but also to enhance the look of your cockpit, the Evolution screen can be set to match any color you choose. The Evolution can display up to four parameters at a time in an easy to read format that shows vital engine data, monitor engine load, engine oil temp, coolant temp, & transmission fluid temp, just to name a few.
The Edge Evolution can be set for audible and visual alerts if any parameter gets beyond a user set limit. The Evolution can also capture and save other diagnostic information such as highest RPM as well as highest cylinder head and fluid temps.
Ever wonder how fast your truck is? The Edge Evolution will display 0-60 as well as quarter mile times and will also save your best times. After all, its not bragging if you can back it up! And if that's not enough, the Evolution can be updated over the Internet via a USB connector for the latest tunes and advanced features.
