Plug-In Module
The Cummins motor is one of the most powerful motors ever put in a pickup truck. The Edge EZ module unleashes the potential of this monster by carefully monitoring RPM, timing, turbo boost pressure, & fueling parameters and adjusting fueling and timing to maximize power, torque, and driveability.
The Edge EZ module allows maximum fueling at full turbo boost and provides an additional 70 HP* and an additional 220 foot pounds of torque*. Simply plug the Edge EZ connectors into two stock connections and you're ready to go.
For 2003 and later trucks, the EZ has multiple levels* of adjustability ranging from 40 to 70 additional horsepower*, EZ modules for 2004.5 and later trucks include an in-cab switch for adjustability on-the-fly.
For 1998.5-2002 trucks, the re-mapping of the fueling and timing parameters is done via the CAN-BUS communication system. The CAN-BUS protocol is used to communicate between the Cummins Engine Control Module (ECM) and the Bosch fuel injection pump.
All data sent from the EZ is within the limits of the Bosch fuel injection pump. This enables smooth and predictable power delivery without compromising integrity.
The EZ can also be stacked with other upgrades to deliver even more power. There is not an upgrade on the market today that can deliver as much power and install so simply.
