Sleeves
The ATS Billet Tie Rod Sleeves are designed to fix what has proven to be a problem area in GM's steering system.
When competing, its ideal to do so in 4 wheel drive for
optimal traction. When a GM truck launches in 4WD it puts extreme stress
on the tie rods, as the front tires buckle inwards toward them. This extra
stress can often cause the sleeves to snap in half.
To eliminate this problem, ATS has designed solid billet steel tie rod sleeves to replace the weak factory units & not only prevent breakage, but also improve front wheel traction in 4WD
